About us
Giovanni Group was founded by Kai and Jamie Giovanni. We build apps that make a faculty's people, research, education, news and events easy to find, and we keep them running long after launch.
Our story
Universities are full of people doing remarkable work. Yet finding the right researcher, the right research group or next week's PhD defence often means searching through separate websites, outdated lists and mailing lists.
We started Giovanni Group to change that. Our apps bring all of that information together in one place, designed around the people who use it every day: students, researchers, support staff and visitors.
As a small company, we work closely with the institutions we build for. You talk directly to the people who design, build and maintain your app.
Founders
Co-founder · Technology
Kai is the technical partner at Giovanni Group. With a background in physics, he takes care of the backbone of every app: the databases, the infrastructure behind them, and the maintenance that keeps everything running reliably long after launch.
Co-founder · Front end and sales
Jamie is the business partner at Giovanni Group and builds the front end of our apps: everything students and staff see and use. With a background in business marketing, he is your first point of contact for new projects and enquiries.
What we care about
We test with students and staff throughout the project, so the app fits how your faculty actually works.
We use your institution's data only to run your app, under a clear data processing agreement.
After launch we maintain, secure and improve the app, so it keeps working as your faculty changes.
Contact
